What Bix can do
Use Bix to discover titles, discuss entertainment and consult your recorded history. The kind of request and conversation location determine what it can use to answer.
Where to find it: @bix profile > Message; post or comment > @bix
How to
- Choose DM for personalized recommendations, history questions and list creation.
- State your goal, reference titles and scope. For data, state the period you want to check.
- Open titles or a list in the reply to review the selection.
- If information is missing, refine the question with a name, year, genre or period.
Requests Bix can answer
- Discovery and context: recommendations by taste, summaries, plot discussions and information about movies, shows, cast and Catalog people.
- Personal history in DM: watched records, show progress, ratings, favorites, bell-followed titles and statistics. It can also help compare recorded periods.
- Lists in DM: a themed selection created privately for you to review before deciding to publish it.
- Images with Gold: an attempt to recognize a work, character or entertainment public figure in an eligible image.
Result limits
- The consulted history is what exists in your account. Bix may report missing data; that does not mean you never watched a title outside Lobbix+.
- Community data and your personal data are different views. Say my records when you want an answer about yourself.
- Bix may search for recent information when needed, but release dates and availability can change. Open references and check.
- List requests follow Bix’s own limit, including on Gold. It does not change your ratings or mark movies watched for you.
Improve an answer
- Instead of a broad request, specify title type and a few preferences. For a comparison, state both periods.
- If a card opens the wrong work, state the year or whether it is a movie or show. Identical names can refer to different works.
- When a reply gives numbers, check the data group and period on your profile. If records are incomplete, correct them in Catalog or the importer.
