Ask Bix to recognize an image

How to

1. Open the Bix conversation and use the media button to choose an image.
2. Add a short question, such as which movie this scene is from, before sending.
3. For a public question, attach the image to a post or comment and include @bix in the published text.
4. Wait and check the identification. If the suggestion looks wrong, provide more context in a follow-up question.

Images and privacy

• Image recognition requires Gold, including promotions enabling Free text chat.
• Send an image you may share. In a public mention, the image remains part of the original post.
• The eligible image and question text are sent to the AI provider for analysis. Bix is instructed to refuse private-person identification; do not use its reply to verify someone’s identity in a photo.
• Video, audio and GIFs do not replace an eligible recognition image. Accurate scene or face recognition is not guaranteed.

If there is no identification

• Check that image upload finished and Gold is active. An image only in your draft has not been sent.
• Use a readable image and include any known context. If several people or works appear, specify which one you want recognized.
• If Bix is uncertain, open the reference and compare the suggestion. A confident answer may also be wrong.
