Movies, episodes, seasons and shows
The four counts show distinct movies, recorded episodes and season and show progress. They help separate title counts from episode-by-episode tracking.
Where to find it: Profile > Stats > Statistics; counts at the top of the screen
How to
- Open Profile > Stats and select Statistics.
- At the top, read Movies watched and Episodes watched.
- Read Seasons completed and Shows completed to check recorded complete progress.
- To review what feeds a total, open the movie or show in Catalog and check Watched or its episodes.
What each total includes
- Movies watched counts distinct titles. A movie both marked Watched and rated enters this total once.
- Episodes watched counts episodes marked in tracking. Repeating the mark on the same episode does not record a new rewatch session.
- Seasons completed includes complete seasons in tracking. Rating episodes or a season can also mark the corresponding episodes watched; check progress in Catalog.
- Shows completed depends on progress recorded as complete. If a show is still in progress, check its episodes and status in Wall.
When a number changes
- Removing watched records can lower totals. A movie continues to count while another valid Watched record or movie rating remains.
- Profile header counts have other meanings: stalkers, stalking, posts, ratings and lists describe social activity or content. They need not match the watched summary.
Read completion without mixing groups
- Movies watched is a collection of different movies. Watching the same movie several times remains one title in this count.
- Seasons completed and Shows completed use recorded progress. Being caught up with available episodes can place a show in Waiting for new season in Wall. The count does not say production has ended.
- A long movie and a short one each count as one movie. To understand the duration represented by the set, check Screen time.
Correct a count that seems wrong
- Missing movie: open the movie in Catalog and check Watched or its rating. Adding a title only to a list does not mark it watched.
- Incomplete show: enter the show page, open seasons and look for unmarked episodes. Rating the whole show does not fill that progress.
- A count dropped: check whether a record was unmarked or removed. Tracking changes can lower totals.
- Difference after import: check recognized titles and episodes. A repeated-session history is not the same as a distinct-title count.
