Read the Decades chart
Decades organizes your titles to show patterns in viewing history. The chart uses account records and Catalog information.
Where to find it: Profile > Stats > Statistics > Decades
How to
- Open Profile > Stats > Statistics and find the chart.
- Compare displayed bars and groups. Use comparable titles to understand differences.
- Open a Catalog title to check genre and year; review Watched and ratings if missing from history.
Interpret the chart
- Organizes titles by release year to show eras in your history. A larger bar means more works from that decade rather than more days of app use.
- The decade comes from release rather than your viewing date. Shows do not become a new work per episode, and missing release data may leave titles without precise classification.
- Adding a Top, list or bell does not automatically record the title watched. Importing and correcting records can change the represented set.
- This picture forms part of profile Stats without requiring Gold. Visibility follows profile access; exported images can circulate outside it.
If a bar surprises you
- Work entered another decade: check Catalog year and version. Watching an old film today does not place it in the current decade.
- Incomplete history may favor recently recorded works. Complete actual records and check importing before treating the chart as everything you ever watched.
