Understand Movies watched
Movies watched counts the different works you recorded. Use it to understand the size of your movie collection without counting rewatches as new titles.
Where to find it: Profile > Stats > Statistics > Movies watched
How to
- Open Profile > Stats and choose Statistics.
- Read Movies watched at the top of the screen.
- To check its source, open Catalog > movie > Watched or Rating.
- After correcting a record, wait for processing and refresh the profile.
What counts and how to interpret it
- Counts different movies marked Watched or rated. If the same movie has both records, it enters once.
- Rewatching does not multiply distinct movies. Listing a title or enabling its bell does not create a watched record.
- A larger total represents more records in that group without measuring knowledge or taste quality. Compare matching groups and consider incomplete or imported history.
- The count forms part of the profile for people with access. It does not require Gold; hiding a Wall poster does not erase its underlying records.
When the number seems wrong
- Missing movie: open the correct version and check Watched or its score. Movie still counts after unmarking: check for a valid rating still including it.
- If the difference followed importing, check recognized and skipped titles. Describe examples to support if it persists without changing records merely to match two totals.
