How to configure posts, spoilers and sharing
Control spoiler protection, Stories, replies and drafts.

How to
- Enable Spoiler Alert to hide marked posts until you tap to reveal.
- Choose whether other people may share your posts to Instagram Stories.
- Choose whether replies appear in the main feed.
- Enable or disable automatic draft saving.
Rules and what happens next
- Showing spoilers automatically makes marked content easier to reveal while reading. It does not force authors to mark spoilers or prevent an unmarked post from revealing the story.
- Drafts and sharing are creation preferences. Before publishing, review destination, spoiler marking and attachments; a preference does not replace reviewing the post.
- Translation controls text reading; it does not rewrite your posts. Restoring defaults here changes preferences without deleting posts.
Common problems
- Spoiler appeared revealed: check Show spoilers and the post’s marking. Block words to reduce specific topics without relying on perfect filtering.
- Draft was not saved: check automatic saving and the choice made when leaving the composer. Check Drafts before starting another version.
