How to create a Marathon Session
Choose a season, invite people and follow the group in a shared timeline.
Where to find it: Menu › Catalog › Marathon Sessions › Create new session
How to
- Open Marathon Sessions from the Catalog submenu.
- Tap Create new session.
- Search for the show, select the season and confirm the starting point.
- Search for and add the people watching with you.
- Start the session; invitees join after accepting.
Rules and what happens next
- A session organizes group records and discussion; it does not stream episodes or synchronize a streaming service. Each person needs access wherever they watch.
- Choose the correct show, season and starting point. Inviting does not confirm someone watched; they decide whether to accept membership.
- The host manages the session. Provisional records require finalization review to enter each participant’s confirmed history.
Common problems
- Person missing from search: check handle and access permissions. Do not create an extra account to represent another participant.
- Invitation not accepted: check participants and wait for the decision. A session should not record episodes in someone’s history merely because they received an invitation.
