How to create a post
Publish text, media, links, quotes and catalog references.
Where to find it: Plus button > composer > Post > Publish
How to
- Tap the floating plus button.
- Choose Post and write your content.
- Add any desired items from the toolbar.
- Review and tap Publish.
Rules and what happens next
- Post is for an open conversation. Use Activity for movie or show context, Rating for a score, Hype for a short debate and Poll for voting choices.
- On Free, ordinary text has up to 1,024 characters; Gold expands the limit. Watch the composer counter. The Bix question allowance is separate and requires a shorter question.
- Review selected audience or Tribe, attachments and spoiler marking before Publish. Saving a draft does not publish or notify readers.
Common problems
- Publish disabled: check for valid content, text limit and any pending media upload.
- Unsure it was sent: check your profile or Tribe before retrying. When leaving to check, save a draft if the screen offers the option.
