Post a video to watch in Cuts

How to

1. Create a post and add a video using the media option.
2. Review the video and write a caption that helps explain the clip.
3. Mark spoilers when the clip reveals events from a movie or show.
4. Publish and open the video to check full-screen playback.

Before posting

• Vertical videos make better use of the screen. Check that text and important people remain visible in the framing.
• Use content you may publish and follow community rules. A video appearing in Cuts does not change your responsibility for the post.
• Specific ad creative limits are described in Ad specifications. They apply to campaigns.

Rules and what happens next

• Cuts uses videos from eligible posts; it does not require creating an ad. An attached video file and an address from another service are different content.
• The duration limit shown in the composer depends on plan and upload flow. Do not apply ad campaign limits to every community video.
• Use authorized media, check sound, framing, caption and spoiler and wait for uploading. Posting does not guarantee immediate inclusion in Cuts discovery.

Common problems

• Video rejected: read duration, format or size notice and select a compatible file. Check Gold if the screen offers extra plan duration.
• Cannot see it in Cuts: check that the post was sent and opens with video. Filters and discovery may not immediately show every post.
