Import Trakt history
Bring records exported from Trakt using ZIP or JSON files. The preview shows what was recognized before you confirm saving to Lobbix+.
Where to find it: Avatar menu > Settings > Data & Privacy > Data importer
How to
- Export your records from the source service and keep the files without changing names or contents.
- Open Settings > Data & Privacy > Data importer. Check the handle that will receive the history.
- Choose the source service and select files on your device. Wait for parsing and review the preview.
- Check titles, dates, scores, lists and warnings. Resolve ambiguous matches and select what to import.
- Confirm the import once and follow the result. Then check profile history and episodes in Catalog.
Prepare the right file
- In Trakt, request or generate a data export following that service’s instructions. Wait for the final file; a history screenshot cannot be imported.
- Select history, rating and list files you want to bring. A title list alone does not say when each episode was watched.
- Keep a copy of the original package. If a data group is missing, check the source export before trying to fill numbers manually.
What importing changes
- The importer adds recognized records and fills missing information. Existing Lobbix+ records take priority; importing does not instruct the app to erase or replace your entire history.
- TV Time and Trakt use files, without giving Lobbix+ your passwords for those services. Ratings imported from these sources do not automatically create public Flow posts.
- Only data present in the file and compatible with Catalog titles is imported. A show recorded without enough episode information cannot reconstruct where you stopped.
- The preview lets you choose data groups. Check list and new-record options before confirming. Do not rely on importing to undo previous choices.
- Importing is available on Free and Gold, on iOS and Android. Imported history feeds statistics; it does not guarantee retroactive BixCoins rewards.
Fix failures and differences
- Rejected file: check source and format. Renaming a text file to ZIP or JSON does not make it a valid export. If you extracted a package, include all required files.
- Wrong or missing title: compare year and poster in the preview. Select the correct match or leave the item unimported to avoid assigning data to another work.
- The page closed: confirmed processing can continue. Return to the importer and check the result before starting another identical import.
- Different counts: check skipped items, duplicates, unidentified episodes and missing dates. Statistics can take some time to reflect processing.
- Not signed in: open the importer inside the app with the correct account. On the website, confirm your handle and use the code received in a Lobbix+ notification. Do not share that code.
- If the in-app screen fails, use Try again after checking your connection. When contacting support, state the source, step and notice; send personal files only when needed for assistance.
