Mess in the Loft

How to

1. Open your Loft. Mess shows up on the floor near where the pet was.
2. Tap the mess to clean 1 level. If it is stacked, tap again until it is gone.
3. Watch the coins go up as you clean. When you leave the Loft, the total goes to your Bix Bank statement as a single “Loft cleanup” entry.
4. To have the Loft clean itself, adopt a house elf.

How it works and its rules

• Each active pet makes a mess from time to time, also while the app is closed. Bigger pets do it more often.
• Poop is worth 10 BixCoins and pee 5 BixCoins per cleaned level. There is no stacking limit.
• Coins add up while you are in your Loft and go to your balance as a single entry when you leave. If you go more than 30 minutes without cleaning, the session closes on its own and the entry is made.
• Piled-up mess makes hunger and thirst drop faster, and pets get sick sooner. An icon above the pet’s head shows when the mess is affecting it, and you get the notice “Your pets are bothered by the mess”.
• Visitors see the mess in your Loft but cannot clean it or earn coins.
• BixCoins are fictional and have no monetary value. Values and rules may change; see the cleaning clause in the Terms of Use.

Common problems

• Coins did not show up in the statement: they arrive when you leave the Loft or after 30 minutes without cleaning.
• Mess disappears without my tapping: a house elf may have cleaned it. Its coins stay in the elf’s details until you Collect them.
• Pets get hungry too fast: clean the Loft and check the bowls.
