Lock Loft and change or remove its password

How to

1. In your Loft, open the settings gear and Loft access.
2. Enable Lock with password, enter a Loft password and use Save.
3. To change it, return to the same panel, update the field and save.
4. To allow visits without that password, disable the lock and save your choice.

How it works and its rules

• This password controls apartment visits and does not change your Lobbix+ login. Never use your account, email or another service’s password.
• Someone who knows the password can share it. The lock does not prevent screenshots by someone who entered. Change the password when you no longer want the previous authorization.
• The system may limit attempts. The password validates access; Help does not promise that the lock is protection for sensitive documents.
• Loft respects blocks and profile visibility: blocked accounts cannot visit; a private profile requires approved access. The Loft password is an additional restriction and does not bypass those controls.

Common problems

• Visits ask for an old password: check that you saved the change and are in the correct Loft.
• Cannot adjust: check that you opened your own Loft and Gold is active. A visitor cannot change the host’s lock.
