Visit a Loft and pet its animals

How to

1. When entering a visit, check the host. If locked, ask the owner for permission and the password and enter it in Password before Enter.
2. Look around the apartment without entering Build mode; that control belongs to the owner.
3. Tap a pet to open its details. Double-tap to pet it.
4. Check its reaction and use Leave Loft when finished.

How it works and its rules

• Visitors cannot move, store, buy or take the host’s items. Visits do not include chat, trading or image uploads.
• Each eligible petting can record your identifier, name and date for the pet’s owner. A visit involving petting is not anonymous.
• There is an interval between petting records from the same person and password attempt limits. Rapid repetition does not guarantee increasing the count.
• An unlocked Loft permits visits under the feature’s rules. Profile privacy should not be used as a substitute for the Loft lock setting.
• Loft respects blocks and profile visibility: blocked accounts cannot visit; a private profile requires approved access. The Loft password is an additional restriction and does not bypass those controls.
• If you delete your account, petting you did on other people’s pets remains in those pets’ history. Tapping your record no longer opens an available profile. Requests about this data can be sent through the privacy contact.

Common problems

• Rejected password: check the text with the host; do not reuse your account password or try guessing theirs.
• Attempt notice: wait for the indicated period before trying again. Additional accounts or automation are not permitted ways to bypass the lock.
• Petting did not increase the total: wait for the interval and check whether it was recorded. Do not send repeated taps merely to fabricate interactions.
• Visit does not open: check blocks, approved private-profile access and the lock. Knowing the password does not unlock access for a blocked account.
