How to mark a post as a spoiler
Protect people who have not watched the referenced content yet.
Where to find it: Composer > Spoiler icon; Settings > Content > Posts
How to
- In the composer, tap the Spoiler icon.
- Confirm that the post contains spoilers.
- Whenever possible, associate the related title, season or episode.
- After publishing, the content stays hidden until the viewer chooses to reveal it.
Rules and what happens next
- The marking hides content until the viewer reveals it under their reading preference. It does not remove spoilers from original text or external shared copies.
- Choose the correct season and episode for context. Avoid revealing the surprise in introductory text or an external image without warning.
Common problems
- Content appeared revealed: check Settings > Content > Posts and the show-spoilers choice.
- Forgot to mark: open your content’s editing controls and check available options. If correction is unavailable, remove it and post a reviewed version.
