How to open Messages and start a conversation

How to

1. Open Messages from the side menu.
2. Tap New message and search for a person.
3. You can also tap Message on their profile.
4. Write and send the first message.
5. Availability respects both accounts' privacy and blocks.

Rules and what happens next

• Search the account by handle and check photo and name before sending. A Catalog person is not necessarily a community account with messages.
• An ordinary chat does not require Gold. Bix chat has its own subscription and allowance rules described in the assistant guide.
• Blocks and account availability may prevent contact. Starting a chat does not authorize harassment, data exposure or prohibited media.

Common problems

• Person missing: check the exact handle and signed-in account. Do not use additional accounts to bypass a block.
• Bix chat did not start: open @bix profile > Message and check Gold or a temporary promotion shown in the app.
