How to create or remove a status

How to

1. Tap the status area on your profile.
2. Write the message and publish it.
3. Other people can reply according to your permissions.
4. To remove the current status, open its options and confirm; it will disappear from your profile.

Rules and what happens next

• Status is a profile-linked message, different from a Flow post and an Instagram Story. Removing it takes away its current presentation without promising to erase replies already sent in chats.
• People with access can reply through offered controls. Do not include personal information you do not want that audience to see.

Common problems

• Cannot write more: respect the status composer’s displayed limit and shorten text.
• Reply missing: check Messages and status state. A view does not mean the person sent a reply.
