How to

1. In Explore, search for titles, people, Hypes or lists and use the available filters.
2. For an app preference, open Settings.
3. Use the Search field and enter terms such as “seen”, “drafts”, “notifications” or “account”.

Rules and what happens next

• Settings search finds available preferences rather than posts or titles. Some results lead to the screen containing the control; tap the option there to finish.
• Explore and Catalog have different searches. For movies, shows or cast people, start in Catalog; for an account or community conversation, use Explore.

Common problems

• Cannot find a feature: try its option name or a nearby term such as translation or devices. An option inaccessible on screen should not be considered enabled merely because another page mentions it.
• Result does not open the final destination: find its button on the destination screen, such as Data importer in Data & Privacy.
