How to choose the starting tab and app icon

How to

1. Under Starting tab, choose Flow, Explore, Catalog or Profile.
2. A custom starting tab may be a Gold benefit; otherwise the app opens in Flow.
3. Under App icon, preview options and tap the one you want.
4. Locked alternate icons require an active Gold subscription.

Rules and what happens next

• Starting tab sets where to begin when opening the app; other tabs remain accessible. Changing the icon changes the shortcut’s appearance and does not create another account.
• Use icons offered by the screen. The system may take a moment to update the Home Screen; controls marked Gold require an active subscription.

Common problems

• Opened a different page from the starting tab: links and Pings may open related content directly. Check the preference with a normal app launch.
• Old icon remains: return to the Home Screen and check again. On Android, shortcuts depend on the launcher; do not remove your account to update an icon.
