Share to Instagram Stories

How to

1. Open the post, Cuts video, profile, Catalog item, Graph or Statistics you want to share.
2. Use the screen’s Share control and choose the available Stories shortcut.
3. In Choose template, select an offered design and review text, images and data.
4. Adjust Background, size and position. Tap Share to continue in Instagram or Save to keep the image.
5. In Instagram, review the result, add a link if desired, choose an audience and confirm posting.

Content with its own artwork

• You can prepare artwork for posts and ratings, share a reference to a Cuts video, your profile, Catalog items, Graph and statistics. The offered template depends on the original screen.
• Lists can be shared by link from the sharing menu. That flow does not offer dedicated list artwork for Stories.
• Artwork may include a handle, badge, photo, text, rating, poster or content counts depending on the template. Badges reflect the profile behind the artwork.

What you need

• Have Instagram installed and an account there to finish posting. Keep both apps updated.
• On iPhone, move from the preview to Instagram. On Android, confirm opening in Instagram when the system offers a choice.
• Choosing a background photo uses your device’s photo picker. Saving artwork may request photo or gallery permission depending on your system.
• Sending artwork does not post automatically. You still choose the audience and confirm in Instagram.

Where to start for each content type

• Posts and Cuts: tap Share and use the Stories shortcut in the panel. A rating may also offer Share on Stories in system sharing options.
• Profile: open profile sharing and use the Stories shortcut. Catalog: open a movie, show or person and use its sharing panel.
• Graph: use the sharing control on the Graph screen. Statistics: open Profile > Stats > Statistics and use the plus button inside a dashed circle beside the title.
• Choose template opens the artwork preview. Opening this panel does not publish or send a message to your contacts.

Finish with the right controls

• Share in the preview attempts to open Instagram with the artwork. You still need to check the editor, choose an audience and post in Instagram.
• Save stores an image on the device. Close exits the preview without completing publication.
• Sharing generates an image. A video shown in the card does not become a full playable Story video.
• Gold is not needed to prepare artwork. You need access to the source content and must complete the Instagram flow to post.

If the option or preview is missing

• Confirm you opened sharing for that content type. A list screen offers a link but not a list Stories template.
• Check Instagram is installed for direct handoff. If artwork is prepared, Save lets you keep a copy for later.
• If the preview is empty, check connection and whether the original post, image or title is still available.
